SERI’s Board of Directors comprises a diverse group of individuals representing a wide range of stakeholders throughout the electronics lifecycle. The Board helps us integrate political, sociological, and economic dimensions, in addition to environmental and technical aspects, into our solutions. As we continue expanding our efforts to make electronics sustainable throughout their lifecycle, our Board also continues growing.

Today, we welcome our newest Board member, Scot Case. He serves as Vice President of Corporate Social Responsibility and Sustainability at the National Retail Federation, and Executive Director of the NRF Center for Retail Sustainability.

Throughout Scot’s career as a strategist, consultant, and sustainability expert, he has worked with organizations ranging from the White House, World Bank, U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), multiple Fortune 50 companies, multiple colleges and universities, and federal, state, and local governments around the world.

"As an advocate of strong standards and certifications that enable a circular economy, I look forward to working together with the SERI board and staff to further the electronics industry's sustainability and circularity efforts."

-Scot Case

Previously, Scot was a partner in an environmental standard-setting and certification company that he and his partner sold to Underwriters Laboratories, served on the Advisory Board of the Global Ecolabelling Network, and was the first employee of the Global Electronics Council (formerly Green Electronics Council), which manages the EPEAT sustainable electronics standard.

We are grateful for Scot's willingness to share his time and expertise with SERI. His experience and leadership are invaluable in helping to further our mission of electronics sustainability.
